Une « cale » (surnomée Bob) fixée sur un câble est placée à l'arrière du train. Le cable tourne autour de deux grosses poulies, l'une situé eau départ et l'autre sous la boucle du looping. Au départ, un embrayage à air comprimé (deux mètres de diamètre) lance la poulie qui entraine le câble et par conséquent le train. Un dispositif de basculement de la cale empêche le train de la cogner lorsqu'il revient en marche arrière. Il ya bien sur de nombreux dispositifs de sécurité pour vérifier les vitesses et autres paramètres avant et pendant le lancement. Le train compte 28 places. Le trajet dure 32 sec Il est possible de réaliser un départ toutes les 90 secondes Le Sirocco a été inauguré en 1982 et a eté en activité jusqu'à fin 2008 pour un maximum de sensations (turbine). Fermé cette saison 2009. Dans l'espoir d'une ré-ouverture en 2010. |
