It is the East Lae'apuki entry point of the PKK lava flow. This volcano has been erupting since 1983, and this lava flow has been active since 2004. The noise you hear is not the lava entering the water, it is actually the wind on the mic of the camera. This was video is from about 100 yards (meters) from the lava, so any noise is from the tradewinds (and not the lava). I zoomed in with our Canon powershot SD800 IS Digital Elph. . This is how all of the Hawaiian islands were formed- over the past 40 million years or so. Truly the most amazing thing my wife and I ever saw. | | | | | | Sensational Sicily - An Overview Author: newrealm06 Length: 1 minute, 55 seconds Rating: 4.464789 | Description: Presented by Alessandro Sorbello www.alessandrosorbello Sensational Sicily http SICILY Provinces: Palermo, www.youtube.com Agrigento, www.youtube.com Caltanissetta, Catania, www.youtube.com Enna, Messina, Ragusa, Siracusa, www.youtube.com Trapani, www.youtube.com This is the biggest island in the Me...More Description: Presented by Alessandro Sorbello www.alessandrosorbello Sensational Sicily http SICILY Provinces: Palermo, www.youtube.com Agrigento, www.youtube.com Caltanissetta, Catania, www.youtube.com Enna, Messina, Ragusa, Siracusa, www.youtube.com Trapani, www.youtube.com This is the biggest island in the Mediterranean, separated from the Italian peninsula by the strait of Messina. It has important mountain groups: Peloritani, Nebrodi, Madonie, Iblei. The coasts offers a landscape of beauty almost everywhere; groups of smaller islands are scattered round the coast (the Eolie or Lipari, Ustica, the Egadi. the isle of Pantelleria and the Pelagie). The Etna, rising in the center of a volcanic area of Sicily, is the highest active volcano in Europe (3323 mt). The isles of Stromboli and Vulcano also are active volcanoes. www.youtube.com PALERMO Historical Palermo sits compactly around one central crossroads, the Quattro Canti, which is at the core of four distinct quarters. The Albergheria and the Capo quarter, the latter beyond the cathedral, lie roughly west of Via Maqueda; the Vucciria and old harbour of La Cala and the La Kalsa, lie to the east, closest to the water. In these areas you'll find virtually all the surviving ancient monuments and buildings of the city: the hybrid Norman-Arab-Baroque Cattedrale Sannta Maria Assunta and nearby Palazzo dei Normanni (Royal Palace), with its superb, mosaic-decorated chapel, the Cappella Palatina; the glorious Norman churches of La Martorana ... | | | | | | Death in june - Rose clouds of holocaust Author: synoymer Length: 3 minutes, 40 seconds Rating: 4.732719 | Description: Rose clouds of holocaust -"This work was inspired by Mid-Winter and Mid-Summer visits to Iceland. All other herbal vaporizers on the market strive to the standard set by Storz and Bickle The Classic Volcano Vaporizer system is a state-of-the-art electric vaporization system that releases flavoring and active ingredients from herbs through hot air vaporization. The Volcano vaporizer gently heats material to the point of vaporization but without combustion, yielding clean vapor without the tar and other toxins found in smoke. The Classic Volcano herbal Vaporizer can be used for aromatherapy as well as a safer alternative to traditional smoking. It can also be used to help you quit smoking. It can also be used to heat scented herbs and oils to add aroma to a room, like a scented candle. According to a recent "VOGUE" Magazine article, chefs are even using the Volcano Vaporizer to add flavoring to food. Smoking or incensing releases ingredients through heat but the temperature is reached through combustion which has several disadvantages. Smoking involves the combustion, incensing the carbonization of plant material, followed by the unavoidable inhalation of toxic combustion by-products, which cause irritation of the respiratory tract as well as noxious odors. In addition, the high and uncontrolled combustion temperature causes the unnecessary destruction of the majority of the ingredients, squandering the original material without any effect. Sarychev Peak is one of the most active volcanoes in the Kuril Island chain, and it is located on the northwestern end of Matua Island. Prior to June 12, the last explosive eruption occurred in 1989, with eruptions in 1986, 1976, 1954, and 1946 also producing lava flows. Ash from the multi-day eruption has been detected 2407 kilometers east-southeast and 926 kilometers west-northwest of the volcano, and commercial airline flights are being diverted away from the region to minimize the danger of engine failures from ash intake. This detailed astronaut photograph is exciting to volcanologists because it captures several phenomena that occur during the earliest stages of an explosive volcanic eruption. The main column is one of a series of plumes that rose above Matua Island on June 12. The plume appears to be a combination of brown ash and white steam. The vigorously rising plume gives the steam a bubble-like appearance; the surrounding atmosphere has been shoved up by the shock wave of the eruption. The smooth white cloud on top may be water condensation that resulted from rapid rising and cooling of the air mass above the ash column. This ... | | |
