There you will find an array of different subjects and different mediums... Including photo real techniques with real paint. It it's a pretty reasonable conclusion that if I can do the things I do with real paint-- why would I feel the need or insecurity to fake it with the "less impressive" digital mediums? Why waste my time? You could also consider the efforts it would take to fake such a thing- consider the layering of the shadows and gradients... Look at how carefully it is done in these vids. There is a visible build-up of LAYERS of tones shadows and colors. To fake something like that would take so much effort, why would a guy who can do all of the other OBVIOUS traditional medium paintings on the same channel waste his time? TO MANY PEOPLE ASK: Why "photorealism"? Why not just use a camera? The answer is simple. I've made the point many times in my replies, comments and descriptions. Hope you all enjoyed this cover. Hey! Guess what! I have big news. I am [finally] recording a full length CD. I already have most of the track list planned out, but if you'd like some input, put the name of the songs of mine you'd like to hear profesionally recorded in the comments. And for updates on the CD and other stuff, follow me on twitter: twitter.com Thanks for watching! * Chris Parker writes: With "Buzzer," upstate New York songwriter Dar Williams takes one of the most famous psychology experiments of the last half-century and turns it on its head, pulling away its oversimplified conclusions and exploring the people behind it. In the '60s, Yale psychology professor Dr. Stanley Milgram tested people's obedience to authority by asking them to administer ever increasing (actually fake) shocks to a volunteer (actually an actor who's in on the experiment), who shrieks in pain and begs for the experiment to end. In the trials, which were likened to the situation of those who carried out the genocide of the Jews in Nazi Germany, more than 80 percent of the participants administered the top level of shock at the bequest of the experiment's overseer, despite the pleas of the victims. Williams imagines a working mother scraping by who participated in the experiment to put food on the table. Despite the anguish, she tries to "play it just like a game" as she hits the buzzer.
