The class was divided into two groups. Each student played roles in an assigned mock-trial in the restored 1913 Court Room at Aliiolani Hale, headquarters of the Hawaii State Supreme Court, King Kamehameha V Judiciary History Center and Law Library. They viewed a short movie, went on a guided tour with Education Specialist Keahe Davis, and then performed the mock-trials. The two mock-trials were Oni vs. Meek (with 10 students) and Furious Riding (with 5 students). This is a photographic slideshow from the field trip by students in the SP151 Personal and Public Speech class. |
