It's been very complicated to choose the most important rock songs by the years. Yes, there is a many bands and songs worth of mentioning, but i choose those who have been the most greatest and influental, my judgments wasn't based only on record sales. For example, ratm's 'Killing in The Name' was never entered Billboard's Hot 200, but it was a crucial song in development of Alternative Metal. Also some songs hasn't been published in years that are mentioned, but they reach their fame in year or two. For example, Micheal Jackson's Thriller hit the charts after a video was realized in 1984 for single published in 1982. Only 'Angie' from The Rolling Stones has been placed in wrong year, but with a reason. As you see some years have two or three song mentioned, that years has been very important in development of Rock music. For example 1965, 1969 etc... I'm trying to find way to extend length of my video so i can put years til 2009, i hope youtube could help me somehow.
